Role: Software DeveloperLocation: Once a week in Sunderland Tech: C#, .NET Core, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and PowerBuilderSalary: Up to £45,000 (DOE)The CompanyJoin a successful software house specialising in software for local governments across the UK. You would be apart of a team developing, implementing and supporting software across areas such as Planning, Highways and eGovernment. Furthermore, working fora Microsoft Partner means youll have the access and the chance to explore the latest Microsoft Technologies.The RoleYou would be working across the whole software development lifecycle on a variety on a projects, the main focus will be on developing and expanding the footprint of our PowerBuilder suite of products. They are currently in the process of migrating this toC# and .NET Core however the primary implementation is currently PowerBuilder enhanced with .NET Windows Services and Website. This means that the role would currently be a 50/50 split between PowerBuilder and C# .NET Core with some JavaScript, HTML and CSS.You will also be involved in systems scoping and specification production, R&D, billed system modifications and client support, there is a dedicated support team however you may occasional need to assist with bug fixes.What theyre looking for:You would be a part of a great team in an supportive environment, the ideal candidate would be someone who can produce innovative solutions to problems and is comfortable in owning their development tasks as there is a lot of room for autonomy within therole.You will need to be able to communicate effectively with both team members and clients as there will be day-to-day contact with customers.The tech stack is below, theres no need to have experience with everything as theyll be plenty of training and upskilling:
