Job Description

Osborne Appointments are on a hunt for passionate, motivated individuals who would like to join our clients team as Service Engineer.Do you see yourself working with a huge leading logistics specialist who offers excellent benefits and opportunitiesWe are proud to be supporting a large logistics specialist that provides over 100,000 products, solutions and innovations at a quality without compromise for various business areas.As a Service Engineer you would be required undertake a comprehensive repair and maintenance service to mechanical/electrical/hydraulic equipment in the Glasgow/Edinburgh/Aberdeen areaSALARY:£13.45 P/HOvertime paid x1.5Weekend calls paid at x1.5 on Saturday and x2 on SundayHOURS:48 HOURSAs a Service Engineer you will:

  • Inspect and repair mobility scooter, trolley pushing equipment, barrier gates, cardboard balers, dock levellers and scissors lifts
  • Adhere to Company policy and ensure any damaged and lost equipment is reported immediately
  • Liaise with the Service Office over telephone and emails
  • Complete worksheet as required
Key Skills and Experience Required:
  • CSCS card (if not currently, will be required to obtain post starting funded by the company)
  • Experience working with electrical and hydraulic system is a must
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance of dock levellers and loading bay system would be beneficial
  • Ability to work in a customer focused environment is essential
  • Travel flexibility is required for the role
  • Full driving licence is required
