Are you a Systems Engineer Who has worked within the Automotive Industry If so, this is the perfect job for you!My client is a well-know for providing advanced control system technology for electric and hybrid vehicles and off-road equipment and are one of the UKs leading suppliers of traction battery chargers and LED safety lighting.The organisation is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their busy engineering team who are based in Tyne and Wear. This role entails gathering requirements, creating design specifications, reviewing design, and participation in the verification process.You will enjoy managing many stakeholders as you pay close attention to market needs, safety regulations, system behaviour and development lifecycle.As the Senior Systems Engineer job, you will be responsible for:- Setup projects within a requirement capture framework- Manage customer, and/or external bodies, audits that demonstrate project compliance to initial requirements- Work with design teams to agree and capture technical requirements that the design needs to meetThe requirements for the Senior Systems Engineer job are:- Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline- Experience of working within a similar position (Systems / Programme)- Experience of designing complex system requirements, ideally as it relates to motor/vehicle control, automotive applications, timing techniques, control algorithm design and simulation- Excellent product knowledge with EV market and a proven record of driving product development through a v-cycle development environment is desirable but not essentialThis is an exciting job opportunity for someone who is highly motivated and has a good attention to detail.
