Job Description

Guide our team to make a huge difference to young people’s lives as a Senior Residential Support Worker at our Brand new children’s home. This is your chance to provide them with personalised care and to create a calm, safe living environment. You’ll plan social and leisure programs, give counselling and escort children on activities. As Senior Residential support Worker, you’ll also assist your team leaders and deputy manager with planning and leading shifts, maintaining up to date and comprehensive records and supporting the staff team.Having worked with young people in a residential setting before, you’ll already have what it takes. You have the resilience to deal with challenging behaviour and good communication skills. You will also have the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent). In the meantime, we’ll give you outstanding training to help you do your best. In return, you’ll need to be happy to work flexible hours, including some sleep-in duties and to have a full UK driving licence.This is a brand new purpose built home and will accommodate up to 7 young people with complex and challenging needs (SEMH).
