Job Description

Senior HR Business PartnerBasic salary circa £55,000 per annum + car allowance + benefitsBased in SunderlandInitially a 6-12 month fixed term contract, may become permanentMy client is a large customer communications organisation who are looking for a highly experienced Senior HRBP, initially on a 6-12 month fixed term contract, to look after 3 sites across the UK. Each site has their own HRBP so this is a much more strategicrole and requires some expert knowledge of change management and structured processes. There is a significant amount of travel required, particularly in the first few months, but its a great opportunity for a someone looking for a challenging project to getreally stuck into!The Role:

  • This is a senior position involving a lot of strategic work looking after all HR functionality across 3 sites in England.
  • Youll be the point of escalation from the site HR BPs and will have a dotted line of management to them although they directly report to their individual Site Managers.
  • Youll be based in Sunderland in the office but will spend a significant amount of time at the Leicester site which will require you to stay away from home some of the time.
  • The role will involve a lot of change management including variation of contracts, new site locations for stakeholders and quite a lot of employee relations queries,
  • The role will focus on cascading strategy from the HR Director, through the site HR Business Partners and into the site functions on a day to day basis.
The Person:
  • This role requires someone with extensive HR experience, specifically employee relations and needs analysis.
  • Were looking for someone with significant experience of change management who can advise and work closely with the HR BPs to ensure all stakeholders are supported and managed fairly through the changes.
  • Youll be comfortable travelling and staying away from home so a full UK driving license and your own vehicle are needed.
  • We need someone who lives within travelling distance of Sunderland
  • A strategic approach is required so experience of overseeing a multi site HR function would be useful although isnt essential.
The Package:
  • A basic salary of around £55k is offered but there may be a little bit of flexibility in this depending on experience
  • A car allowance of £400 per month is offered
  • Death in service benefit and pension
  • Whilst this is initially a fixed term contract it may become a permanent position.
