Techniche Global are supporting leading automotive manufacturer to appoint a Seat Design & Test EngineerThis role will be overseeing and monitoring the manufacturing and production of Seats and Seating systems at the plant in Sunderland.Key responsibilities:* Responsible for the life cycle management of Seats including cost reduction, quality market improvement and new product development projects.* Lead the industrialisation activities of new Seating systems* Supplier day to day management* Managing and reporting test validation, cost performance, part quality, adoption timing and delivery.* Secure industry leading customer satisfaction* Work within a cross functional global teamQualifications and Experienced required: * Design or Engineering qualification* CAD interrogation* Cost analysis skills related to automotive interior* Experience in engineering
