Group DescriptionOur clients portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and otherindustrial markets.Recognized globally as an innovator in all aspects of vehicle exteriors, our client provides everything needed, from materials development and design through manufacturing and assembly, to help automakers create sleek, state-of-the-art vehicles across theworld.Role SummaryThe role primary duties will be to provide both proactive and reactive support; analyse business systems and processes, train key-users, and lead project implementations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will ensure correct data reporting,document system changes, help to track data metrics, identify potential improvements, and develop business solutions.This role will work closely with the MES Engineer to provide cross-functional support and will also be a backup for key-user functions. This role will work in conjunction with the rest of the IT team to provide service support to end-users, ensure businessalignment, compliance, and productivity.You would be situated in an open plan office, with a team of fellow professionals, working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate business needs via business process analysis, through collaboration with cross-functional teams and observation.
• Determine how to integrate SAP software programs to enhance targeted business processes.
• Coordinate and manage system extensions and modifications from requirements gathering to go-live and support.
• Support and maintain user-guided applications to simplify interaction with SAP.
• Understand, define, support, and maintain interfaces with MES, EDI, and other systems.
• Evaluate IT infrastructure and capabilities, as well as facilitating cost-effective improvements.
• Collaborate with the IT team to offer technical solutions and resolve issues.
• Provide SAP end-user training and support.
• Produce business processes and training documentation.
• Prepare progress reports on project implementations.
• Escalate to and liaise with Global IT and SAP AMS Teams.
• Backup key-users functions when needed.
• Ensure SoD within SAP roles and users.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure system accuracy and reliability.
• Keep informed of the latest SAP updates, developments, and offerings.
• Comply with industry regulations and standards.
• Continuous improvement of all IT processes and initiatives.
• Ensure a safe working environment and excellent housekeeping standards.
• Take part in the on-call rota for escalation or urgent production issues.
• Other duties commensurate to the role.

Essentials

• Experience as an SAP business analyst
• Solid knowledge of JIT/JIS processes and their integration with SAP and MES systems.
• Solid knowledge of a second SAP module such as MM, WM, PP, SD, FICO.
• Understanding of processing, troubleshooting, and tracking of messages (IDocs).
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Advanced ability to manage projects and provide leadership.

DesirablePrevious experience in automotive industry with JIS/JIT production.General IT Infrastructure background, or IT support experience.Use and support of user-guided applications such as MSB.Use of reporting tools such as SSRS or Power BI.Exposure to MES systems.
