Job Role: Reinstatement SupervisorLocation: SunderlandSalary: £40,000Role Type: PermanantNovo Technologies has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated reinstatement supervisor to be part of a team delivering a fibre to the home telecommunications network project within the North East.This work will involve the direct supervision and oversight of the civils reinstatement on public highways, footways, and private residential land.Responsibilities* Carry out new starter site inductions* Able to liaise with client and local authorities on a daily basis* Coach and mentor reinstatement teams ensuring work is completed to the HAUC specification* Highlight any snagging works that need to be carried out* Undertake weekly site Quality assurance audits within areas of supervision (civils, fibre and or cabinet installations) of no less than 50% of your deployed gangs, or as directed to by the group compliance manager* Accomplish construction human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, and training employees.* Assess safety and finance KPIs - SLAs and ensure Service levels are within the contract framework.* Meet operational standards by contributing construction information to strategic plans and reviews.* Meet construction budget by monitoring project expenditures.* Accomplish construction project results by defining project purpose and scope.* Approve construction projects by conducting inspections at critical phases.* Prevent fines and work interruptions by complying with, and enforcing, codes.* Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following guidelines, standards, and procedures* Correct any defects and rectify onsite to ensure no or little re-visits are requiredQualifications* NRSWA Unit 001* NRSWA Unit 002* Health and Safety modules ( Abrasive wheels training, Asbestos awareness, First aid, Manual handling, PUWER and CDM awareness)* SA002 - Safety Underground* (PIA) S5 - PIA pole survey* (PIA) S6 - PIA duct survey* (PIA) CD1 - Core Drilling (PIA)* (PIA) G01 - General Operatives 1* (PIA) G02 - General Operatives 2* (PIA) DB1 - Duct blockages 1* PIA experience is desirable but not essential* Relevant industry experience* Relevant sector Engineering knowledge (Ducting, Fibre and Civils)* Full clean Driving LicenseIdeal Candidate* Confidential in all matters* Be able to work on own or as part of a team.* Ability to work on own initiative* Ability to work in, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment* An assertive but calm demeaner* Self-motivatedIf you are interested in this role please apply now!
