A rare and excellent opportunity has arisen to work for one of the finest refrigeration & air conditioning businesses based within the Northeast. They are now looking to grow the business further and are wanting to increase the team by looking to recruitan exceptional refrigiration engineer on a full-time, permernant basis.Duties will include:Ensure that products such as heat pumps and refrigerant gases are handled in a safe and eco-friendly way.Install, service and maintain refrigeration systems in locations such as supermarkets, hospitals, food processing plants and hotels.Install, service and maintain air conditioning systems and equipment which maintain the quality, temperature and humidity within buildings.Undertaking preparatory work.Inspecting, testing, certificating and commissioning.Identifying and rectifying faults.Providing functional and technical information to customers.Maintaining effective working relationships with fellow workers.Overseeing work activities.Good customer service and communication skillsThe ideal candidates will have the following attributes:A minimum of 8-10 years proven experience within the industryF-Gas certifiedExperience of installing, servicing & repairing refrigiration & air conditioning systemsExperience of installing commercial systemsRelevant Qualifications such as NVQ level 2/3 or City & Guilds are desirableAge 25 plus for insurance purposesIn return for the ideal candidate my client offers the following benefits:A very competitive salary based in industry standards£32-36kProgression & development opportunitiesCompany van, tools, PPEMust be available to start immediatelyYou will generally work between 37 and 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm however you need to be flexible, as the hours worked will depend on the project, priorities and deadlines. You will also be required to work 1 in 3 weekends, on a rotational callbasis.
