Job Description

The CompanyOur client is a global force within the automotive manufacturing sector. Increases in production have led to their current requirement for a Quality Technician. The role offers the successful candidate the chance to work for one of the regions most successfulcompanies along with an attractive salary.The Role

  • Provide production line support via problem investigation and containment implementation both internally and at the customer.
  • Produce inspection / rework instructions for containment activities.
  • Conduct Product measurement / assessment and complete associated reports.
  • Monitor quality level by sampling and measuring according to established requirements.
  • Facilitate investigation of and closure of 8Ds as assigned.
  • Participate in 8D meeting to discuss new, open and closed 8Ds as required.
  • Assist in development FMEAs, Control Plans and Quality Standards.
  • Assist in the development and timely submissions of customer data submission.
  • Ensure completion of shift tasks as dictated by checklist.
  • Assist in ensuring all suppliers validation submissions.
  • Actively participate in the communication of engineering changes between suppliers.
  • Comply with IATF requirements.
  • The role will be working a 2-shift system.
The Person
  • Must have previous Quality experience within the automotive sector.
  • Able to accurately perform measurements using dimensional measuring and test equipment.
  • Able to prepare written reports and understand quality standards.
  • Investigation skills.
  • Computer literate - specifically MS Office
  • Understanding of Faro arm technology desirable.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Good problem solving and organisation skills.
  • Detail conscious.
