Job Description

Envision AESC UK Ltd apply a quality ethic of zero customer defects in all activities whilst challenging our cost competitiveness through a smart, disciplined, risk-based approach within an IATF16949:2016 and ISO9001:2015 compliant Quality Management System.Working within the Quality Department of Envision UK you will part of a highly motivated, multi skilled department with over 10yrs experience in Lithium ion Battery Manufacturing and vast underpinning knowledge in the Automotive industry.Outline and Responsibilities:

  • Lead team of QA inspectors in routine and non-routine Inspection
  • Responsible for first level investigation internal, supplier or customer
  • Identify and deploy robust containment actions to protect the customer
  • Lead / Support 8D and root cause analysis investigations
  • Liaise cross functionally
  • Generate and maintain QA working level documentation
  • Ensure 5S, Safety & Environmental Standards are maintained
  • Support departmental and Organization objectives
  • Lead with a strong sense of customer focus
  • Development of staff
  • Cost saving and continuous improvement
  • Deliver shift handovers and prepare reporting documentation
  • Conduct / support Process & Process Audits in line with IATF requirements
  • Deputise for QA Engineer / Supervisor when required
  • Any other requirements as required by the company in line with the terms and conditions.
    • Background and Experience Required:
  • Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
  • Previous Man management experience advantageous
  • Must be PC literate, experienced in Microsoft packages e.g. Excel & PowerPoint
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Experience within a Li Battery facility advantageous
  • Experience of IATF16949 & ISO9001 / 14001 advantageous
  • New product launch and Trial preparation experience is desirable
