Project Manager (Infrastructure/Construction/Utilities/Rail Capital Projects) Newcastle (Remote Working) £45,000 - £65,000 + Performance Bonus + Company Pension + Remote Working + Industry Training Are you a Project Manager that is looking to take a step up in their career by moving into capital project delivery and contract management with a major UK business that is directly supporting a number of vital water and infrastructure companies. This company has expanded over recent years to cover everything from Water and Utilities consultancy to Renewable Energy plant services and recruitment. They have employees across the UK and are now looking to bring a number of new Project Managers into thebusiness to support the joint work they have with a private sector and public sector client. As a Project Manager with this company you will be tasked with the timely, efficient, safe and cost-effective delivery of major infrastructure and environmental capital projects. This will cover everything from project scoping/costing to contract management,risk and issue management, technical resource coordination and IMS compliance. The ideal candidate will have a Project Management qualification (APMP, PRINCE2 etc), will have experience of contract management within the NEC suite of contracts and will have a background involving Civils, Water, Construction, Infrastructure, Highways, Railor similar projects. The role: * Developing and delivering business cases * Managing projects including stakeholder management, scheduling and contract management * Taking ownership of individual projects to successfully deliver capital investment projects * Identifying and tracking risks and opportunities associated with projects * Ensuring projects are delivered to quality requirements and standards (including commissions) * Liaising with and managing suppliers * Developing and maintaining strong relationships with all parties involves in projects * Providing technical leadership throughout projects The Person: * Project Management qualification (APMP, AMP, PRINCE2 or similar) * Experience managing large projects for Construction/Rail/Highways/Infrastructure/Utilities etc * NEC3/4 Accreditation or practical experience * Microsoft Project / Gantt Chart experience (advantageous) * UK driving license The services of Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd are that of an Employment Agency.
