My client has been a thriving, family business for over 30 years, delivering the best expertise within the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Sector across the North East and beyond.My client are looking to expand for a dynamic, experienced and driven individual to fill the role of a Projects Manager, to support the already experienced team to provide our customers with the highest standards of designing, planning and installation ofnew projects.As part of my client you can expect to work alongside a friendly and supportive close-knit team within the office environment and to lead and inspire the next generation of Air Conditioning Engineers.You will play a key role in a rapidly growing family business, where your suggestions are welcome and listened to.Role: The Projects Manager shall be responsible for ensuring that the service delivered is fully in accordance with the Customers requirements and specifications. The Project Manager shall be technically qualified, experienced in managing both small- and large-scaleinstallation projects from dealing with customers enquiries in an efficient and friendly manner face to face, via telephone or e-mail. Pricing and preparation of sales quotations, ordering installation equipment, creating risk and method statements in linewith the site requitements for each project and creating commissioning packs.Responsibilities:Workforce Customer/Site Plan the engineering workforce installation programme schedule using Job Logic, allocating labour and sub contract resources in conjunction with the Project AssistantEstablishing and developing a working partnership with current customers.Oversee the installation engineering workforce, provide site supervision.To liaise with customers to ensure work is being carried out to their satisfaction and to identify future potential business.Support the engineering workforce in the installation of refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment, including the commissioning and de-commissioning of all types of refrigeration equipment.Demonstrate/train customers on the use of equipment, ensuring attainment of customer satisfaction.Complete accurate paperwork including timesheets, completing RAMs and assessing subcontractors RAMsManaging the successful delivery of all services within the scope of the specificationMake certain that the engineers are equipped with the correct tools, including PPE and equipment. Ensure these are available to carry out the prescribed works in a safe manner at all times, alerting the General Manager to any unsafe condition that may arise.Compliance with all statutory, Employers and Health Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.Take overarching responsibility for the maintenance and use of PPE and all company tools/equipment issued, ensuring engineers keep them in good order.Ensure that engineers are equipped with and wear required protective clothing and footwear.Liaising with the Site based maintenance Staff, Sub-Contractors and other Site based operational departments to ensuring good communications.Maintaining a high level of employee morale.The preparation of quotations and estimates for new works projectsAssisting with H&S, QA and team training by disseminating training.To provide support to the incident management group when called upon.Skills:
