A Mechanical Project Engineer with a background in Fabrication / HVAC / Building Services is sought by a Sunderland based Engineering companyThe key focus of the role is to advise, design, estimate costs and manage all aspects client projects. This will include attending site and assist customers to determine project scope and objectives, producing mechanical designs and CAD drawings for approval,produce cost quotations and purchase materials and equipment. You will work with the production manager to schedule production, monitor projects to ensure they are on time and within budget and keep customers up to date with progress.The successful candidate will have a HNC / Degree in an Engineering disciple and experience of working within the metal fabrication industry. A background in Mechanical Design and the ability to produce 3D CAD drawings with Solidworks or AutoCAD is an advantage.Experience of HVAC / Cleanroom / Building Services design would be an advantage.
