Job Description

Job Title: Production and Planning CoordinatorLocation: Sunderland - fully office basedSalary: £27,000The roleThe Production Planning Coordinator is required to support the delivery of an efficient and effective support to planning operations to ensure SLAs are achieved and production orders are closed for invoicing. To review and schedule raw materials to satisfyclients requirement. To review and apply correct measurements and use of data to improve all aspects of Planning Operations. Adherence to current process and assisting in the implementation of new processes.Main Responsibilities:

  • Stock management. Managing level of raw materials required for production, stock call offs, stock orders.
  • Postal reconciliation.
  • Completed orders - job closure. Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
  • Banked hours and agency hours reporting.
  • Purchase orders processing.
  • Investigate production problems, analyse root causes, and provide solutions
  • Maintains a strong knowledge of the operational processes amongst team members and that such processes are conducted to a high standard.
  • Continuously considers processes within the department and make recommendations for improvements to Operations Management.
  • Creating a culture of effective cross-functional and flexible working on site (flexibility across lines and functions) to ensure labour flexibility to meet fluctuations in demand, create opportunities for career paths and cost-effective production.
Skills/Experience:
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft products.
  • Able to analyse information and report upon its content.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Accountable and reliable.
  • Promotes a positive working environment and able to resolve conflict.
