Job Description

The OpportunityI am delighted to be working on a fantastic Product Owner role for an organisation Nigel Wright have supported for a number for years. The heart of this organsiation is all about social well-being so having someone in the business who wants to make a differenceis key. With changes happening across the business in a positive way, they are looking for a Product Owner to join their existing team of 4 Product Owners. If you have experience of managing 3rd party product and suppliers, then this is the ideal role foryou.Responsibilities

  • Working within an Agile mindset, reporting to the Systems Manager, the post holder will work alongside Business Analysts, Developers and within the wider IT department.
  • You will implement and take ownership of third party and in-house solutions by way of managing product backlogs and development roadmaps.
  • This is an exciting and rewarding role within a forward-thinking team who are always looking at innovative ways of delivering fantastic solutions within the business and evolving the sector at large.
Person Specification:
  • You will possess a relevant IT qualification or equivalent experience and have comprehensive knowledge of Agile SDLC.
  • You will have demonstrable experience within a Product Owner role and experience with Agile management software, preferably Jira Software.
  • Strong knowledge of system architecture and infrastructure (networks, virtualisation etc) is essential, as is exposure to software development in some capacity (frontend, backend, database etc).
