Job Description

Our client Envision are an established, rapidly expanding manufacturing business currently looking to recruit an experienced Process Quality Engineer to join their team.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the North Easts highest profile manufacturing plants as they are expanding their operations at their battery manufacturing plant in Sunderland. This is a unique opportunity to join one of the most exciting,large scale industrial developments in many years, where new and emerging technologies will be adopted in support of the rapidly growing electric vehicle marketplace.Overall Purpose:

  • The Process Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring process compliance to the Control Plans and be the point of contact and support for shift Quality teams.
Key Duties:
  • Fully proficient with IATF16949:2016.
  • Deep dive to Root Cause using 8D and Quality tools.
  • Creation of Control plans.
  • Support FMEA Creation and Improvements.
  • Oversee product and process audits (internal).
  • Generate technical and management reports.
  • Ensure containment and corrective actions for internal and supplier concerns.
  • Data Analysis.
  • Team development.
Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required:
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels.
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and present data to make fact-based decisions.
  • Experience of IATF16949.
  • Good understanding of IATF16949 core tools (PPAP, APQP, MSA, FMEA, SPC).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - reporting throughout the business at all levels and with all functions will be required.
  • Knowledge of APIS software (Desirable)
  • PC Skills including MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work shifts if required.
  • 8D Investigation lead.
  • Calibration & MSA understanding.
  • Full driving license and ability to travel at short notice if required.
