Job Description

Are you passionate about working with children or considering a career change into teaching with rewarding valuesIf so, we have an exciting opportunity within a very welcoming and friendly school in Ryhope!Our school in Ryhope is very committed to making a difference and supporting children from all backgrounds. They are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic teaching assistant to help with daily teaching and support for their children.The school caters to learners with additional needs including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties, so experience with SEN would be beneficial.This Sunderland based school is currently looking for additional support within KS1 they are looking for candidates that can be engaging, hardworking who can be patient with learners. Previous experience within KS1 is required.The school can offer:

    • Role Requirements:
  • Minimum Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject
  • Experience supporting children with KS1 children of all abilities
  • Adaptable to different daily routines
  • Experience of KS1 curriculum and phonics
  • Flexible and creative approach to support teaching
  • Hold an advanced Child Only DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply for one
    • Our school are looking for the right person to start as soon as possible working between the hours of: 8:30-15:30 Mon-Fri and have potential for a permanent placement.
