Job Description

Platform Engineering Manager (.Net Node AWS) Sunderland to £110kAre you a technologist seeking an opportunity to take ownership and make an impact, working with a modern technology stack that you can influence You could be joining a tech driven online gaming / low-cost gambling company as they go through a period amassive tech investment and transformation.As the Platform Engineering Manager you will be instrumental in helping the business move to a white labelled / gaming as a service type environment, with responsibility for the platform that the games run on. Youll head up multiple, cross functional engineeringteams fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence to deliver the technology required for a world class gaming platform.This is a strategic role where youll work with other global leads to define and communicate the platform architecture, ensuring standardisation and scalability. The company has received huge investment and has ambitious growth plans.WFH Policy:Theres a hybrid work from home policy with 2-3 days a week; when youre in the office youll be collaborating with accomplished colleagues in awesome custom built offices in Sunderland with a range of facilities and perks including three, free meals a daysat the onsite restaurant as well as membership at onsite gym.Requirements:

  • You have experience of leading cross functional engineering teams / functions with a "servant leadership" type approach
  • You have experience of delivering white labelled web based platforms with thousands of customers across multiple territories
  • You have experience with customer facing and B2B products
  • You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, used to working with senior stakeholders on high level strategy and progress reporting
  • Youre able to inspire and motivate others
  • You have a strong technical understanding - some of the technologies used by the team are C#, .Net, Node.js, AWS, Docker, SQL Server
