Job Description

Are you a highly skilled Pipefitter with expertise in non-Welded techniques, Swagelok fitting, and flange torquing Are you passionate about engineering and thrive on engaging in exciting projects If so, Interaction Recruitment has a fantastic opportunityfor you!We are currently in search of a dedicated and experienced Pipefitter to join our clients team in Sunderland on a permanent basis. As a Pipefitter, you will play a pivotal role in spool fabrication through the application of mechanical forming techniques,pressure testing, and flushing. Your extensive knowledge and experience in non-Welded processes, Swagelok fitting, and flange torquing will be instrumental in successfully delivering a variety of projects, both domestically and internationally.Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute spool fabrication using mechanical forming techniques.
  • Conduct thorough pressure testing and flushing.
  • Proficiently read and interpret engineering drawings and standards.
  • Apply metric compression/formed pipe work, twin ferrule pipe work, 37° flared flange, and JIC 37° flared pipe work.
  • Possess an understanding of hydraulic circuits (advantageous).
  • Perform pressure testing and hot oil flushing (advantageous).
  • Display flexibility in working overtime, weekends, and occasionally away from home when necessary.
  • Adhere to industry health and safety requirements.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and exhibit a strong work ethic.
Requirements:
  • Proven prior experience in non-Welded techniques, Swagelok fitting, and flange torquing.
  • Possession of a valid UK Driving Licence and Passport.
  • Demonstrable pipe bending experience.
  • Willingness to commit to working away from home as required, both domestically and internationally.
  • Possession of a Forklift truck & Telehandler licence (advantageous).
  • SBT training and experience using hand benders and MJI 10 (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy work ethic.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Salary and Benefits:
  • Competitive annual salary: £34,000 - £34,650 per year.
