Job Description

Are you a proficient Pipefitter with a specialization in non-Welded techniques, Swagelok fitting, and flange torquing Do you possess a genuine passion for engineering and thrive on engaging projects If so, look no further - Interaction Recruitment presentsan outstanding opening for you!We are actively seeking a dedicated and seasoned Pipefitter to integrate into our esteemed clients workforce in Sunderland, on a permanent basis. As a vital member of the team, you will play an instrumental role in spool fabrication employing advanced mechanicalforming techniques, in addition to conducting pressure tests and meticulous flushing procedures. Your profound expertise in non-Welded processes, Swagelok fitting, and precision flange torquing will be extensively utilized across an array of captivating projects,both on domestic soil and the international stage.Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute precise spool fabrication utilizing cutting-edge mechanical forming techniques.
  • Skilfully conduct pressure testing and execute comprehensive flushing procedures.
  • Interpret and effectively decipher intricate engineering drawings and standards.
  • Command various pipe work techniques, including metric compression/formed pipe work, twin ferrule pipe work, 37° flared flange, and JIC 37° flared pipe work.
  • Demonstrate a nuanced understanding of hydraulic circuits (a distinct advantage).
  • Possess the ability to conduct pressure testing and expertly execute hot oil flushing (a significant advantage).
  • Embrace flexibility by willingly working overtime, weekends, and even undertaking travel, as project demands dictate.
  • Adhere unwaveringly to industry Health and Safety standards.
  • Uphold a consistently professional demeanour and demonstrate an unwavering commitment to exceptional work ethics.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of adeptly applying non-Welded techniques, Swagelok fitting, and meticulous flange torquing.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence and an active Passport.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in pipe bending techniques.
  • Willingness and ability to work away from home, travelling both domestically and internationally, as projects necessitate.
  • Possession of a Forklift truck license (a distinct advantage).
  • Familiarity with SBT training and hands-on experience with hand benders and MJI 10 (preferred, but not mandatory).
  • Exceptional communication skills coupled with an innate ability to collaborate seamlessly within a team.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and unwavering trustworthiness.
  • Comfortability in working outdoors, undeterred by diverse weather conditions.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Annual remuneration ranging between £34,000 and £34,650.
