Job Description

Job Role: PipefitterLocation: SunderlandSalary: £34,650 per annum (£18ph)Metalis are working with a piping systems specialist based in Wakefield, this global leading company are on the search for multiple experienced pipefitters to join their fast growing team!Duties of The Pipefitter:

  • Home based, however will be expected to travel up and down the UK, abroad and occasionally offshore
  • Fabricate using various mechanical and welding techniques
  • Weekend work may be required
  • Pipework installation and pressure testing
Requirements of The Pipefitter:
  • Steel Pipework experience is essential
  • Experience working with both small and large bore
  • Available to work overtime & weekends when required is a must
  • Able to read engineering drawings and standards
  • Full UK driving licence

Salary & Shifts of The Pipefitter:
  • £34,650 (£18.00 per hour) based on a 37 hour week
  • Overtime paid at 1.4x hourly rate Monday-Saturday, 1.8x Sunday
  • Regular days, overtime and potential weekend work
