Job Description

We are currently looking to appoint a Part TimeTrainer/ Assessor on behalf of one of our clients in Sunderland due to company growth. This role will offer someone the opportunity to work within the operations function ofthe company and will suit someone with knowledge of the training sector.As the successful Part Time Trainer/ Assessor your duties will include:

  • Plan and administer all required course delivery, utilising relevant resources for course delivery
  • Use various systems including companies own and office software
  • Provide and deliver reports to the management team on the learners progression
  • Ensuring your Trainer/Assessor files are kept updated and full awarding body compliance is maintained
  • Attend and participate in standardisation meetings
  • Handling queries and complaints in the relevant time frames
  • Reviewing and updating health and safety policies
  • Attending conferences and training as directed
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure a streamlined process for completions and to service verification visits
  • General ad-hoc duties to maintain the quality of service
  • Maintain high standards in equality, diversity and safeguarding
Skills:
  • Hold an appropriate Assessor and Teaching qualification (essential)
  • Possess a Level 3 qualification in Nail Technology and Make-up Artistry or an equivalent qualification (essential)
  • Vocational experience within the Beauty Industry
  • Experience working with VTCT, ITEC or equivalent awarding bodies
  • Commitment to a learner centred approach
  • Strong IT skills and the knowledge of different systems
  • Excellent communication skills on all levels
To be successful in this role you will have worked in the Training and Education sector as a Trainer/ Assessor, possessing excellent business development and relationship building skills. This is a part time position and the client is flexible in regardsto how these hours are broken down. This can be discussed with the right candidate.
