Job Description

MTrecs new career opportunityOur client are specialists in their market sector, they are looking for an Part Time - Accounts Administrator to join them on a permanent basis.The job you’ll do

  • Sage accounts and Payroll Administrator.
  • Answering and redirecting incoming telephone calls to the appropriate person.
  • Handling and distributing post.
  • Up-dating policies and procedures when required.
  • Completing and updating Safe Contractor accreditation.
  • Adding holidays to the shared calendar.
  • Ensure office supplies are at a sufficient level and replenished as required.
  • Provide administrative support to the General manager.
  • Process new starters/leavers.
  • Prepare new starter documents.
  • Ordering uniforms.
  • Managing training matrix and organising training as required.
  • Sage accounts.
  • Processing sales invoices.
  • Matching delivery notes against the purchase order and invoice.
  • Chasing aged debt for payment.
  • Reconciling supplier statements and other accounts documents as required.
  • Bank reconciliation.
  • Check credit card receipts, posting to correct nominal code.
  • VAT returns and submission.
  • Preparing records and liaise with external accountants for annual accounts.
  • Yearend journals.
  • Sage payroll.
  • Check staff timesheets and enter onto spreadsheet for approval.
  • processing monthly payroll.
  • payroll reports records.
  • RTI submissions and pension upload.
  • Processing holidays, sickness.
  • Process Payroll year end in line with current PAYE legislation.
  • Remain up to date regarding PAYE legislation and requirements.
  • Enter new starters and process leavers in sage.
  • Answer colleague question about wages.
About you
  • Sage 50 professional experience (at least 1 year using sage 50 professional accounts).
  • Sage 50 Payroll experience (at least 1 year).
  • Strong IT skills using Microsoft word, excel and outlook.
  • Communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work effectively unsupervised.
