Job Description

Pertemps are searching for an experienced Control Panel Wireman, for one of our most renowned clients, who are International leading suppliers in the water pump industry. Candidates must be available for work immediately.Our client offers fantastic benefits, including:

    • Working hours:7.45-4.15 Monday-Thursday / Friday 7.45 – 12.45.Because of the nature of work we are looking for experienced candidates who can pick up our processes easily and get stuck in straight away. Therefore successful candidates must have:
  • Experience wiring and assembling control panels
  • The ability to accurately read and interpret
  • Experience doing point to point wiring checks
  • A strong understanding of safe working practices
  • Experience and understanding of mechanical processing and assembling
    • Ideally you will also have the following:
  • Experience with Functional testing of Control Panels
  • Electrical testing & fault finding of Control Panel wiring & installations
  • Project wiring/Plant room installation experience
  • A strong understanding of lean manufacturing tools & techniques
  • Some knowledge and understanding of the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations
    • For this role you should have the following qualifications:
  • Time Served Electrical Engineering & Electrical Craft Apprenticeship to City & Guilds Level 3
  • NVQ Level 3 - Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent Electrical/Wiring qualification
  • NICEIC Inspection & Testing certificate
