They prioritise research, creativity, and inclusivity to actively contribute to a sustainable future through education and collaboration.Mechanical Services Manager – The Role:Our client is seeking a Mechanical Services Manager to offer management, leadership, and technical support for all Mechanical Building Engineering Services. The Mechanical Services Manager will take charge of mechanical services leadership in Reactive Maintenance,Planned Preventative Maintenance, improvement and energy efficiency projects, as well as capital projects.Mechanical Services Manager - Key Responsibilities:- Identify and categorise mechanical service elements in University buildings for inclusion in various contract forms- Formulate schedules, specifications, and tender documentation for competitive service contracts, overseeing mechanical services staff as Contract Administrator- Manage Building Management Systems and supervise daily energy management functions and reactive maintenance personnel- Keep clients informed of new work, remedial actions, and preventative measures affecting day-to-day activities- Ensure alignment of new mechanical design proposals with the Universitys standards, providing on-site oversight for construction projects- Inspect and evaluate mechanical services for refurbishment or replacement- Coordinate with relevant personnel and manufacturers to maintain critical equipment and systemsMechanical Services Manager - You:- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills- Experience of writing and presenting technical reports- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent- Proficiency in formulating, developing, administering, and managing specialised maintenance contracts for mechanical building services- Expertise in designing contemporary mechanical building servicesMechanical Services Manager – Benefits:- Competitive salary package, commensurate with your experience and skills- A generous holiday entitlement- Employee benefits packageTo submit your CV for this exciting Mechanical Services Manager opportunity, please click ‘Apply now!
