This is an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in the design and manufacturing industry with a minimum 2 years design engineeringYou will have experience working on multiple bespoke and standard projects utilising SolidworksWe are seeking a Design Engineer with at least 2-5 years experience on a permanent basis for company that specialise in the design and manufacture of standard and bespoke process machinery equipment for a variety of different industries.Essential Requirements / Experience: This person will have 2-5 plus years Mechanical Design Engineering experience·Must have a mechanical engineering / manufacturing background·Ideally must have previous experience designing bespoke special purpose equipment but not essential·Must be enthusiastic, confident and keen to progress·Be motivated willing to learn and happy to share knowledgeThe Role* As a Design Engineer, you will be working closely with manufacturing to generate 3D layout drawings, component drawings and site drawings of their existing products* Design of bespoke special purpose machinery from a blank sheet of paper using Solidworks* Liaising and meeting with clients* Problem solving - you will design a lot of complex equipment* Working to project requirements to ensure on time delivery, within budgetTo be considered for this role please click "apply now" and submit a copy of your up to date CV Required skills
