Mechanical Design EngineerDaysSunderland£40,000-£50,000Zenith are proud to be retained to represent an established manufacturer in the region in their search for a Mechanical Design Engineer. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting key technical projects with key clients and supporting the design team through the use and application of design software and packages such as Solidworks and AutoCad.With a well-known brand and reputation behind them, they are looking for an established and competent Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will have experience within a fast-moving manufacturing environment such as Automotive, Food, Pharmaceuticals or similar.Candidates must have experience of Solidworks. Not having experience of this will be a distinct disadvantage. Ideally this will be within a recent working environment with real world applications instead of theoretical training or within academia.Candidates should have experience on:
