Job Description

Role: Marketing & Business Support ExecutiveLocation: SunderlandWorking Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)We are actively seeking a seasoned and dynamic Marketing & Business Support Executive to join our team and contribute to the sustained growth and efficiency of our organization. Working closely with our Managing Director, the successful candidate will playa pivotal role in shaping and executing our marketing and business development strategies.Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy:Collaborate with the Managing Director to create, develop, and implement comprehensive marketing and business development strategies.
  • Initiative Identification:Identify new and effective marketing and business development initiatives to enhance our firms reach and impact.
  • Campaign Management:Implement successful marketing campaigns, coordinating with partners on advertising, print, press, photography, SEO, and other channels.
  • Digital Presence:Manage our website, social media, and other digital platforms, ensuring a strong and engaging online presence.
  • Content Creation:Draft valuable and engaging content for the website and social media platforms to showcase our services effectively.
  • Networking:Actively participate in networking events, take the lead on expos, and organize seminars to raise awareness of our business.
  • Relationship Building:Build and maintain long-term relationships with third parties, clients, and referrers, ensuring client feedback is managed effectively.
  • Community Involvement:Lead our charity and community involvement initiatives.
  • Budget Management:Oversee marketing and business development expenditures, ensuring alignment with budget constraints.
  • Reporting:Produce management reports on activity, results, and return on investment (ROI).
  • Business Support:Assist the Managing Director and wider board with any business management support needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience:Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the legal sector or other professional services backgrounds.
  • Sales and Business Development:Proven track record in sales, business development, and winning new business.
  • Analytical Skills:Strong numeracy, forecasting, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Flexibility:Willingness to work outside normal office hours if required.
  • Proactive Approach:Ability to deliver under pressure, meet deadlines, and work with a proactive approach.
  • Social Media Knowledge:Good working knowledge of social platforms and experience in maximizing engagement, including paid social media.
  • Creativity:Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
  • Problem Solving:Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Interpersonal Skills:Approachable with excellent listening skills.
  • Time Management:Good time management, planning skills, and ability to prioritize.
  • Technical Proficiency:Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), WordPress, or other website management systems.
