Marketing and Admissions Coordinator for a school in Sunderland- For January 2024Term Time only plus 6 weeks across holiday periods (Flexibility may be possible for the right candidate)Hours of work: 8.30am-4.30pm plus some evenings and weekends for school events.Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 Full time equivalent.The newly created position of Marketing and Admissions Coordinator will enable us to deliver a first class admissions experience for prospective families, as well as actively promoting the school to generate enquiries.A large component of the role will be focused on the administration of the admissions process and therefore the successful candidate will have an excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills. In addition, they will require excellent written abilities,be highly organised and proactive. The Marketing and Admissions Coordinator will work closely with the Regional Marketing Manager to deliver the schools marketing plan. The duties in this area will include regular posting on our social media channels, writingand posting web stories on the School website and keeping content up to date. In addition, they will take pictures of school occasions and pupil activities as well as organising events.To be successful in this role, the successful candidate will need to have a warm and welcoming personality as well as being a team player and be able to work with colleagues across the school. In addition, the successful candidate will have to manage numeroustasks and manage priorities to ensure both the admissions and marketing objectives of the role are achieved.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Admissions Key Tasks (50%):• To be the first point of contact for prospective parents or agents either via telephone or email• To send out prospectuses and other relevant information and advise parents of the Admissions process.• Prepare and send all correspondence to prospective families including registration, offer, welcome letters etc.• Be responsible for maintaining the Admissions database and managing the enquiry pipeline – receiving, logging and promptly following up on all outstanding enquiries.• To arrange personalised visits for parents and produce the weekly visits schedule.• To assist with the administration of Open Mornings and other recruitment events as required (this will necessitate occasional Saturday morning duties) under the direction of the Regional Marketing Manager.• To help prepare and circulate joining information for New Pupils.• To provide monthly admissions figures to the Regional Marketing Manager by completion of our reporting framework.Marketing Key Tasks (50%):• To assist the Regional Marketing Manager to deliver the school’s marketing plan.• Manage the School’s website. This will include: assisting with uploading material to the website and checking the accuracy of information on all pages.• Assisting with the collation of information of promotional and marketing literature.• Taking photography at key school events.• To assist with the planning of external Marketing events and alumni events as required.• To assist with the organisation of the School’s Open Mornings and Taster Days• To plan, collate and produce the school’s newsletter (weekly) and the alumni newsletter (3 times per year).• Create and schedule social media posts and content in line with the content management plan.Please get in touch for further information regarding personal specification if the role is of interest.
