Job Description

The CompanyA growing FMCG organisation based in Sunderland is seeking a Management Accountant to join their team. This Management Accountant position is a varied role with opportunities to develop as the business evolves. On offer is flexible working and development forthe suitable candidate.The RoleThe duties of the Management Accountant will include:

  • The production of timely & accurate daily, weekly & monthly site P&Ls
  • Reporting all of the sites financial performance including relevant KPIs.
  • Production of flash forecasts, actual v budget, actual v prior week.
  • Supporting Financial controller in identifying and driving continuous improvements around processes and controls
  • Product Costings, understanding gross margins within the costings for use by sales team.
  • Capex reporting & completion, post-implementation review.
  • Monthly reconciliation of Key P&L accounts, identifying where WTM variances may arise and driving improvement.
  • Adhoc duties as required.
The PersonThe requirements for the Management Accountant position are:
  • Working knowledge of Financial / Operational processes
  • Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft office skills
  • Part /Qualified Accountant or qualified by experience
  • A manufacturing background is desirable
