MTrecs New Opportunity;MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious Global Service Provider, based in Sunderland, with their plans for internal growth. We are supporting their growth by recruiting a Permanent Logistics Engineer, to join their organisation. A successfulcandidate will be responsible for a multi-dimensional logistics, planning and projects-based opportunity, that assists the Project Managers, depending on business needs and requirements.   • Prepare and analyse various pieces of data and interpret its meaning to meet customer and operational needs.
  • Utilize various modelling techniques.
  • Ensure the agreed project management methods, standards and processes are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist the Project Manager and Team Managers in the production and maintenance of project plans.
  • Complete all necessary documentation in accordance with current requirements to ensure traceability.
  • Develop and maintain the project documents, electronic filing, recording and reporting systems.
  • Develop and implement appropriate configuration management procedures.
  • Define and document procedures in accordance with agreed methodology.
  • Develop and support effective communication mechanisms between the project teams.
  • Undertake any other administrative tasks as specified by the Project Manager.
  • To take care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your actions at work.
  • Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with local rules.
  • Support GK, 5S and other improvement activities across the division.
  • Support design requirements using Computer Aided Design software.
  • Complete operational observations and study work to aid the data analysis process.
  • Undertake ongoing training to ensure the department stays proactive within the business.
  • Good understanding of Excel to be able to analyse data and created weekly and monthly reports.
  • Data reporting using appropriate presentation methods.
  • Work hand in hand with Operations to ensure minimum impact of project work and the seamless introduction of new initiatives.
  • Assist with project Risk Analysis and contribute towards development of suitable countermeasures.
  • Any other duties as covered by your contract of employment.
About You;
  • Previous experience within a logistics engineer, warehouse supervisory role or similar.
  • Previous experience using AutoCAD software is desirable.
  • Experience within the management of Logistics, Projects and Operational aspects is highly desired.
  • Data Management and analysis is desirable.
  • Willingness to learn and further qualify is essential.
  • Ability to travel when requested.
