Job Description

Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Logistics Administrator, on a 3-6-month Maternity Cover Contract. Working for a client located in Sunderland. You will be responsible for the distribution and collection of production work orders. Recording information in an accurate and timely manner, collecting, and recording associated scrap and processing stock adjustments related tocycle counting on a daily basis.Logistics Administrator Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Distributing and collecting production work orders.
  • Being the first point of contact for queries relating to production work orders.
  • Accurate and timely data input.
  • Compiling and issuing management reports on-time using SAP MRP and Microsoft databases.
  • Ensuring all reports generated are accurate.
  • Accounting for all open production orders and outstanding stock adjustments.
  • Ensuring production orders are closed on a daily basis.
  • Escalating issues following the escalation procedure.
  • Adhering to quality standards and requirements.
  • Working to the companies code of conduct, policies, and procedures.
  • Actively identifies improvement activities.
  • Collaborates with colleagues across all functions to drive continuous improvement.
  • Participating in training and development opportunities.
  • Sharing knowledge and best practice by training others.
  • Consistently maintains open communication, sharing business knowledge and information with team members: Production, Maintenance, Logistics, suppliers, and customers.
  • Engaging with line manager in regular 1-1 meetings.
  • Fostering positive working relationships, always treating colleagues with dignity and respect.
  • Adhering to the companies guidance on safe work practices in relation to Health Safety and Environmental.
Logistics Administrator Applicants:

  • High level of attention to detail / data accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Computer literate (Microsoft packages).
  • Experience of processing high volumes of data.
Salary is £22,471. Working Monday to Thursday 7.55am until 4.30pm and Friday 7.55am until 2.15pm.
