Job Description

Our client is an established organisation based in Sunderland.An opportunity has arisen for a Learning and Organisational Development Officer to join initially on a fixed term basis for 12 months. Although not guaranteed there is potential the role will be further extended or made permanent. The role will be basedat the Head Office and does support hybrid working.The position will support the OD team in the delivery of L&OD related projects to support the organisation achieve its People Strategy objectives.Main duties include:

  • Work as part of the HR and OD team to contribute to the development of the whole lifecycle of the OD service and strategy.
  • Assist with the organisation and coordination of learning development initiatives.
  • Support the OD team with the development and preparation of training materials.
  • Maintenance of the Learning Management System.
  • Provide advice and support to learners to access training.
  • Deliver training to individuals and groups.
  • Assist in a variety of L&OD projects including Wellbeing, Engagement and Talent Development.
  • Support the OD Business Partners with the research and development of new training programmes.
The successful candidate will:
  • Be an experienced HR of L&OD professional with experience at the Assistant/ Officer level.
  • Be passionate about Learning and Development.
  • Be a confident communicator able to deliver training sessions to large groups.
  • Be a team player.
