Job Description

Lead Software Developer / Engineer (C# .Net Core TypeScript) Sunderland / WFH to £75kWould you like to progress your career in a senior, hands-on lead role working on a modern tech stack and collaboratively problem solving within a supportive team environmentYou could be joining an online gaming company as they go through a period of technology investment and expansion.As a Lead Software Developer you will design and develop new features and enhancements to the core web based gaming platform, build and maintain RESTful APIs for clients to consume. Theres a focus on .Net backend development but youll also have exposureto the front end with TypeScript and Vue.js.Youll take ownership of projects, seek continuous improvements and help to mentor more junior developers in a relaxed environment that encourages knowledge sharing and close collaboration.WFH Policy:Theres a hybrid work from home policy with 2-3 days a week; when youre in the office youll be based in awesome custom built offices in Sunderland with a range of facilities and perks including free meals and snacks at the onsite restaurant as well asmembership at onsite gym.Requirements:

  • You have strong C# and ASP.Net MVC / .Net Core experience
  • You also have experience with JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Theres a range of other technologies in the stack, experience with any of them would be great: Node.js, Vue.js, AWS, Lambda, Docker, Terraform, TeamCity, GitHub, SQL, MySQL, Redis
  • You have a good grounding with Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns
  • Youre collaborative with a genuine enthusiasm for technology, keen to learn and share knowledge
  • Youre likely to be degree educated in a STEM discipline
