Job Description

Lead Full Stack Developer (C# .Net Core JavaScript) Sunderland / WFH to £80kAre you a senior, hands-on Full Stack Developer looking for an opportunity to progress your career working on a modern tech stack and collaboratively problem solving within a supportive team environmentYou could be joining an online gaming company as they go through a period of technology investment and expansion.As a Lead Full Stack Developer you will provide technical leadership and mentoring to a small, Agile team whilst remaining hands-on with designing and developing new features and enhancements to the core web based gaming platform as well as building andmaintaining RESTful APIs for clients to consume.Theres approximately a 50/50 split between hands-on tech work and leadership; theres a focus on .Net backend but youll also have exposure to the front end with TypeScript and Vue.js.Youll take ownership of projects, seek continuous improvements, mentor and provide technical leadership to more junior developers in a relaxed environment that encourages knowledge sharing and close collaboration.WFH Policy:Theres a hybrid work from home policy with 2-3 days a week; when youre in the office youll be based in awesome custom built offices in Sunderland with a range of facilities and perks including free meals and snacks at the onsite restaurant as well asmembership at onsite gym.Requirements:

  • You have strong C# and ASP.Net MVC / .Net Core experience
  • You also have experience with JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Theres a range of other technologies in the stack, experience with any of them would be great: Node.js, Vue.js, AWS, Lambda, Docker, Terraform, TeamCity, GitHub, SQL, MySQL, Redis
  • You have experience of mentoring, leading people and projects
  • You have a good grounding with Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns
  • Youre collaborative with a genuine enthusiasm for technology, keen to learn and share knowledge
  • Youre likely to be degree educated in a STEM discipline
