Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced IT Helpdesk Support professional to join our clients team and provide technical assistance to their IT Department.In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Information Systems to administer, control, plan, and implement the technology infrastructure required to support all business processes within the organisation. Your responsibilities will include providing1st line technical support, resolving hardware and software problems, and delivering excellent customer service to all support queries.Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Information Systems to define department objectives and manage IT projects related to infrastructure.
  • Provide 1st line technical support to users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly and effectively.
  • Communicate with users via phone, email, and online tickets, ensuring a high level of customer service and adhering to service management principles.
  • Take ownership of user problems, be proactive in resolving issues, and escalate matters when necessary.
  • Log all calls and issues in the designated logging systems.
  • Support users in utilising computer equipment by offering necessary training and advice.
  • Coordinate external technical support when in-house resolution is not feasible.
  • Maintain relationships with external service providers for second-line support.
  • Liaise with the MIS department in the USA to ensure the continuity of service.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in IT/Telecom field.
  • Extensive experience in Microsoft Office/Teams.
  • Strong networking skills.
  • Proven experience in a helpdesk support role.
  • CompTIA A+ / Network+ certification is desirable.
  • Experience with MCP/Clait/EDCL is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Resourcefulness, initiative, and the ability to drive results through others.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
