The Role of a Cyber Solutions Project Manager Responsible for managing the successful delivery of medium and/or moderately complex projects; or workstreams within major change programmes, within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost, to deliver specified customer requirements. Alternativelydelivers several smaller, less complex, projects in parallel with each other. To achieve this, the Project Manager must ensure that the management and support for each project is adequate. Project progress, budget, risks, issues, and variances must be monitored.The Project Manager is responsible for the project producing a result that can achieve the benefits defined in the business case. . Principal Accountabilities Manage and drive technically complex projects across the business, covering areas such as IT infrastructure, networks, upgrades and enhancements and software delivery. Develop and manage a detailed project schedule. Prepare a budget based on scope of work and resource requirements and track project costs. Identify resources needed to reach objectives and manage those resources within the project. Identify and engage with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient design and implementation of solutions. Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various audiences reporting on progress, risks and issues. Manage engagements with vendors. Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution. Adhere to the EDF project delivery methodology ensuring standards and governance are in place. Ensure project artefacts are complete, up to date and correctly stored. Confirm sign offs and approvals are appropriately sought and evidenced. Build and lead a project delivery team ensuring the correct technical and business resources and third parties are fully engaged and committed to the project. . Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience Minimum 5 years experience managing multiple concurrent IT projects. Demonstrable IT work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and technologies. Knowledge of IT Service Delivery. Proven track record in managing the full project lifecycle including mobilisation, design, development, testing and deployment. Experience in working with diverse sets of stakeholders to agree solutions that meet a range of business demands. Experience of working with multi-location teams. Strong stakeholder management experience. Experience of working in both Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologies would be an advantage. Highly motivated to deliver results and go the extra mile to meet deadlines. Must have good written, verbal and presentation skills. Strong problem-solving skills, and able to show initiative. Highly organised individual, with excellent attention to detail. Ability to adapt and move to different projects and in line with priorities and needs.
