Hydrogen Electrical Design EngineerSunderlandCompetitive SalaryJackson Hogg are proud to be working with a leading global innovator and manufacturer of highly engineered fluid and gas handling high-pressure equipment based in Sunderland.An opportunity has arisen to join the Engineering department as a Hydrogen Electrical Design Engineer, where you will support the exciting, growing unit. Responsibilities for the role include the design of control solutions associated to the gas, hydraulicand process systems including other manufacturing processes.The role includes (but is not limited to) the following responsibilities:To be an operational member of the electrical design team to ensure systems are delivered on time and to specification.Design Electrical Schematics, preferably in EPLAN.Create electrical schematics that show how electrical components and panels work together to accomplish a process.Produce layout drawings of the given plan, components and devices.Component specification and verification in accordance with operating environment.Produce and modify bill of materials.Understand construction or production methods and processes.Examine existing drawings and double check them for reliability and manufacturability.Successful applicants will:Possess knowledge of Electrical Engineering and standards.Must have a strong understanding of the electrical software engineering principles.Draw and interpret flow diagrams (Visioetc).Have strong analytical thinking skills.Have at least a HND/ Degree in electrical engineering or relevant experience (min 5 years).
