Job Description

Interaction Recruitment are delighted to collaborate with a prominent Engineering firm based in Sunderland, currently seeking an experienced Hydraulic Technician for a permanent role.Position: Hydraulic Technician.Location: Sunderland, UK.Salary: £40,000 per annum, with potential for additional earnings through overtime.Our esteemed client offers a competitive compensation package, including bonuses, which will be discussed during the interview process. In addition, applicants must possess a valid UK driving license and be open to occasional out-of-town assignments.Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute pressure testing, installations, commissioning, fault identification, repairs, and maintenance of hydraulic equipment.
  • Swiftly diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating parts, replacing worn components, and optimizing equipment performance.
  • Collaborate effectively with the team to prioritize tasks and coordinate projects.
  • Maintain meticulous records of work performed and ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • Be prepared to travel and work at various sites and businesses across the UK and offshore to meet company requirements.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in pressure testing, installations, commissioning, fault diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance of hydraulic equipment.
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of hydraulic systems and their components.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Skilled in utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and acute attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Possession of a valid UK driving license and flexibility to work away from home when necessary.
