Join Our Client as an HR Coordinator in Sunderland!Office Angels presents an exceptional opportunity for an experienced HR Coordinator to join our client on a permanent contract basis. Our client is a highly reputable and well-established business, currently expanding their team. They are seeking a professional,people-focused, and approachable individual to join their busy Human Resources department, starting as soon as possible.As an HR Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing efficient and effective HR support to the business and HR Business Partner. Your responsibilities will include ensuring HR activities align with company policies and procedures while maintainingthe highest level of confidentiality.In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing advice on all areas of Employee Relations, including absence management, disciplinary and grievance procedures, and recruitment processes. Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle HR administration tasks efficiently.
  • Coordinate new starter paperwork, ensuring compliance with right to work documentation and obtaining clearances and references.
  • Provide advice and support to managers on employee relations matters, including attendance/sickness management, disciplinary and grievance issues, and probation/performance management.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including bulk recruitment.
  • Assist with policy and procedure changes and ensure their effective implementation across the workforce.
  • Prepare for and participate in department audits as required.
  • Support departmental projects as needed.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as directed by the management team.
Knowledge and Experience:
  • Previous experience as an HR Admin, Coordinator, or Generalist in a busy and fast-paced organisation is essential.
  • Working knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • CIPD qualification (desirable), with essential working experience in HR.
