Head of Data Engineering (ETL Data Warehouse) Sunderland to £110kAre you a technologist seeking an opportunity to take ownership and make an impact, working with a modern technology stack that you can influence You could be joining a tech driven online gaming / low-cost gambling company as they go through a period amassive tech investment and transformation.As the Head of Data Engineering you will be instrumental in helping the business to harness and structure large volumes of data to deliver valuable business insights and commercial opportunities. Youll develop and communicate a clear data strategy, providingleadership and mentoring to a team of Data Engineers, DBAs and Data Scientists and collaborating with the senior management team to define data related KPIs and performance metrics.Youll oversee the design, development and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure reliable and efficient data integration from hundreds of different sources. In time youll also lead the Data Science function and grow / bring the teamon board to widen that function.Youll work with multiple, cross functional engineering teams fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence to deliver the technology required for a world class gaming platform.This is a strategic role where youll work with other global leads to define and communicate the platform architecture, ensuring standardisation and scalability.
