Job Description

The CompanyGroup Financial Accountant - Growing Organisation - Hybrid Working - Great BenefitsA growing organisation is seeking a Group Financial Accountant to join their team. This is a perfect opportunity for an ACA Qualified Accountant looking to make their fist move from practice to industry. This Group Financial Accountant has arisen due to growth/internalpromotion, and there will be career development opportunities for the successful candidate.The RoleThe Group Financial Accountants duties will include:

  • Influencing and supervising the Group’s accounting policies and procedures
  • Acting as the key consolidation role to allow monthly Group wide reporting
  • Working closely with FD/CFO to build out potential consolidation practices with the Group’s entities and the new potential owner
  • Primary lead on the completion of the Group’s Annual Report and financial statements
  • Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the Group’s auditors and tax advisors.
  • Production of subsidiary financial statements ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations
The PersonThe requirements for the Group Financial Accountant role are:
  • Be recently ACA/ACCA qualified
  • Probably come from either accounting practice, or have relevant experience
  • Be strong technically with an up to date working knowledge of developments in accounting standards (IFRS and UK GAAP) and corporate governance/ reporting
  • Disciplined, organised, orderly and professional
  • High levels of personal motivation and energy
