Environmental Enforcement Support Officer required to improve neighbourhoods through the delivery of an environmental enforcement function of prevention, education and enforcement. Supporting the reduction of Environmental Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour in the City of Sunderland. This is a temporary role and requires an immediate start.The Role This role includes: responding to waste removal and fly tipping service requests, patrolling neighbourhoods, reporting and investigating incidents, engaging with communities and taking appropriate action. The successful candidate will be responsible for issuing fixed penalty notices for offences including: enforcing on any Public Space Protection Orders, littering and fly posting.This is a physically demanding role which requires the candidate to work outdoors in all weather conditions.Experience RequiredApplications are welcome from candidates with recent, relevant experience.Desirable but not essential experience: Knowledge of Fixed Penalty Notices/local authority regulatory enforcement, knowledge of Sunderland and its local environmental issues.Remuneration£11.19 per hourThis is a temporary position and Corepeople Recruitment Limited will be acting as an employment business for the supply of temporary workers to the hirer.By applying for this job you accept the T&Cs, Privacy Policy and Disclaimers which can be found on our website.
