Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Digital Marketing team and be responsible for first party email communications. Your day-to-day activities will involve building marketing and service messages as well as building journeys with the CustomerRelationship Management Manager to enhance the customer experience.This is an incredible role where the successful candidate will be play an integral role in the innovative journey were building for our customers. You will be responsible for using customer data to create new journeys, improve on existing ones and deliverpersonalised communications where appropriate.ScS is excited to announce its new Digital Hub situated within our Coventry store allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the shopping journey, both with our in store experts and customers. We will be focused on building truly omni-channel experiencesthrough improving our current proposition and revolutionising the homewares shopping journeys.The Digital Hub will hold a wide range of opportunities for new and existing talent across digital marketing, ecommerce, UX and product.Please note: This role is available for ScS Head Office in Sunderland or the Digital Hub situated in Coventry. Key responsibilities

  • Create, own and adhere to an email marketing calendar, with a focus on business-wide marketing campaigns and on-site content
  • Build responsive marketing and service messages
  • Work with the CRM Manager to ensure existing customer journeys are optimised
  • Utilise existing customer data to assist in their journey with ScS
  • Conduct weekly and monthly reports on email campaigns
  • Import customer and prospect data in a GDPR compliant manner
  • Ensure email campaigns and elements are A/B tested to produce the highest quality communications
  • Work with multiple departments to help with internal communications
Knowledge and abilities
  • Enthusiastic about learning and gaining new skills

  • Highly organised with good time keeping skills and strong attention to detail
  • Engaging and forward-thinking
Experience & qualifications
  • Experience with CRM/ESP systems is essential
  • A robust understanding of GDPR and data protection
  • Hands on experience building engaging emails
  • Strong content writing skills
  • Experience with managing data
  • Experience with HTML formatting is beneficial
  • Photoshop and Dreamweaver experience would be beneficial
