Job Description

A creative, commercially minded Marketing/Merchandising Executive ideally with a Digital Marketing or eCommerce background is sought by one of the North Easts most successful eCommerce companies. Youll be helping to drive online sales across Ecommerceplatforms; youll be bright and can demonstrate solid commercial acumen within a digital context.Role: Ecommerce Merchandising ExecutiveLocation: Durham - remote working possible for part of the weekSalary: £28k - £30k p.a.Your key responsibilities will be...- Taking responsibility for product listings within an Ecommerce group- Data Analysis; site metrics and customer behaviour to identify opportunities for improvement in product placement- Collaboration with marketing team to help with digital merchandising activitiesThe skills and experience we seek...You will be an enthusiastic Marketing Executive or Copywriter with an eye for detail and demonstrating new ways of thinking by keeping pace with the evolving digital media marketplace and combining best practices with a continual drive for innovation.We seek a bright, articulate individual who is commercially savvy and can offer demonstrable knowledge of most of the following…

  • Content Creation (product placement/detailing in a digital, eCommerce environment)
  • Content creation for Social Media
  • Ability to "tell stories" and engage audiences - web, social media, mailshots, whitepapers, product placement, etc....
  • Appreciation of SEO and what drives excellent SEO results
  • Basic understanding of email marketing
  • Ability to adapt the marketing message, communication, and style to respond to different markets
  • Ideally some experience of what makes a great UX online
  • Some understanding of Data Analytics (perhaps Google Analytics and Google Adwords)
