Job Description

Our international automotive manufacturing client based in Sunderland is looking for a Customer Quality Liaison to join them on a permanent basis.Job Role

  • Responsibility for tracking and monitoring all identified customer / plant QOS requirements
  • Closure of customer / plant concerns within pre-agreed time frame using customer approved problem-solving techniques
  • To provide detailed and accurate feedback to both plant and customer to help develop the cross-functional strength of the team
  • Ensure accurate reporting of pre-determined measurables for plant / customers within agreed time frames
  • Presentation and feedback to customers and plant on quality concerns and corrective actions
  • Analyse customer returns, assure implementation and verification of corrective/preventative actions
  • Monitoring and Tracking of all identified QOS metrics
  • Actively supporting quality improvement initiatives and presentations
    • Skills/Experience
  • Ability to form effective working relationships with internal/external customers and suppliers
  • Experienced in liaising with customers and suppliers
  • Flexibility in supporting production requirements
  • Experience or knowledge of IATF16949:2006 and relevant customer specific requirements
  • Experience of automotive quality tools, techniques and systems such as PPAP, 8D’s, SPC, Pareto, Ishikawa
  • Computer and data collection system literacy, analysis and presentation
  • Experience of quality /process audits
  • Ability to prioritise and organise tasks
    • The role will be dayshift working Monday to Friday. Required skills
