Job Description

Job description Are you looking for to kickstart a career with a global automotive manufacturer Are you an expereinced Counterbalance Driver looking for an exciting new role If so, please read ahead!Our client is a well-established company who are looking for experienced FLT drivers to join a thriving logistics team. We are looking for motivated individuals who are looking for a long-term opportunity with a genuine view to go permanent with thecompany after six months of service. Immediate starts are available for this role!A valid in date FLT licence is required for this role and licenses must have been refreshed within the last 3 years.Duties:

  • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
  • Carrying out general FLT duties such as loading and unloading
  • Decanting Stillages
  • Moving stillages
  • Line Feeding
  • Following health and Safety procedures at all times
39 hours per standard working week. Must be able to work both day shift and back shifts. Shifts are worked on a weekly rotation.Shifts:
  • Dayshift - Monday to Friday - 7:00am- 3:10pm (3:00pm finish on Friday)
  • Backshift - Monday to Friday - 3:10pm - 11:20pm (3:00pm - 11:00pm on a Friday)
Pay rates:
  • £10.64 per hour across both shifts.
  • Overtime throughout the week and Saturday paid at £14.25
  • Overtime on a Sunday paid at £19.00
