An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Counsellor within South Tyneside and Sunderland Foundation Trust. We are developing an innovative and psychology-led service to enhance staff wellbeing across the organisation. You will form part of a team that will:Develop an in-house staff support/ employee assistance programme that delivers effective and evidence-based psychological interventions to staff accessing this service.To support the design and delivery of psychologically-informed managerial training, psychological first aid training and clinical supervision training.To work with Occupational Health, Human Resource and Public Health leads to inform the work of the Health and Wellbeing Strategy supporting the development and delivery of preventative interventions for staff wellbeing.The Service will sit within a well-established Clinical Health Psychology Service. You will be well-supported by the psychologists, nursing & AHP colleagues working within the Department. You will receive good-quality clinical supervision and CPD, and have line management supervision from the clinical lead of the ServiceThis role is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an innovative and exciting service development. The Post will predominantly involve the delivery of counselling-based interventions to staff experiencing mild to moderate psychological distress.
