They are a great place to develop a career in catering and events.Job description:Your key responsibilities as Conference and Events Coordinator will consist of:- Ensuring that enquiries are taken efficiently and within parameters set in the Service Level Agreement- Preparing quotes and contracts for events ensuring all details are completed- Following up all leads/enquiries within the parameters set in the Service Level Agreement- Completing sales show rounds within the venue-Ensuring that profit margins are maintained, agreed costs are not exceeded through effective control systems-Communicating with the Operations department throughout- Ensuring that enquiries, messages, bookings are dealt with courteously and efficiently.Completing all post-event marketing to achieve repeat bookings- Striving to anticipate customer needs wherever possible and react to these to enhance customer satisfaction.Providing all customers with a professional, helpful, and friendly service at all times- To promote an attitude of caring and co-operation from all staff- Treating all internal and external customers in a polite and courteous manner at all times- To give full co-operation to any customer requiring assistance in a prompt, caring, and helpful manner- To be flexible in assisting around different areas of the stadium in response to business and customer needs and carry out reasonable requests- Performing all tasks to a consistent standard- Take responsibility for own personal development by attending training sessions and meetings when required and operating in line with the training or information received- Achieving KPIs set by Site Manager/National Sales Manager- Demonstrating pride in the workplace and a high level of commitment- Maintaining regular and effective communication within the team and attend meetings when required- Complying with statutory and legal requirements for fire, health and safety, hygiene, licensing, and employmentProfile description:The experience and knowledge we are looking for from the future Conference & Events Coordinator include:- 1-year of experience in a similar environment- Knowledge of Microsoft Office- Strong Telephone Skills- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Ability to work on your own initiative- Experience in selling events
